Photos as you go
Open the job, tap the camera. Each photo is stamped before, during or after, and kept with the job, not lost in your camera roll. Snap the receipt for the materials while you are at the counter.

Hours, materials and your notes become the quote. Pin the photos that show what the job needs. Send it from the share sheet as a PDF, from the ute, before you have driven off.
Invoice with the proof
When the job is done, the quote becomes the invoice. Variations get their own line and their own photo. The after photos go on the invoice, so "it was already like that" has an answer.

Tax invoices done the Australian way
The rules for a valid tax invoice are baked in, so you never have to remember them at nine at night.

Tradiefolio comes from a CNC workshop on the Gold Coast that quotes and invoices builders, set designers and homeowners, and gets the same arguments every tradie gets: what was agreed, what it looked like before, and what the extra was for.
The apps on the market either want $50 a month for a scheduling system a one-person business does not need, or they do invoices and treat the photos as an afterthought. We wanted the photos to be the record and the invoice to come from it. So that is what this is.

Questions
Does it need the internet?
No. Photos, quotes, invoices and PDFs all work with the phone in flight mode. The only time it talks to anything is when you buy the unlock through Google Play, or when you share a PDF and your email app sends it.
Where are my photos and invoices kept?
On your phone, in the app's own storage. Nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else. Back up to a single file whenever you like and keep that file wherever you keep your business records; it restores onto a new phone in a minute.
What if I lose the phone?
Whatever is in your last backup file is safe, so the app reminds you to back up and the file is small enough to drop in Google Drive or email to yourself. The unlock itself is tied to your Google account, so it comes back with a tap on Restore purchase.
Is it a scheduling or job-management system?
No. There is no calendar, no staff, no customer portal and no dashboard. It is a folder per job with the documents that come out of it. If you run a crew and need scheduling, you want something like ServiceM8 or Tradify and their monthly fee. If you are one person with a ute, you probably do not.
Does it do GST properly?
Yes, for a sole trader or small business in Australia. It knows whether you are registered, prints Tax Invoice or Invoice accordingly, checks your ABN, shows GST the way the ATO requires, and exports to Xero with the right tax types. It does not give tax advice.
iPhone?
Android first, because that is where the gap is. An iPhone version depends on how many people ask, so if you want one, say so on the launch list and you will be counted.
What happens after my ten free jobs?
You can keep opening, editing and invoicing those ten jobs for as long as you like. Creating an eleventh job asks for the one-off unlock. Nothing you have made is ever locked away.
Can I get a refund?
Google Play gives you 48 hours to refund any in-app purchase yourself. After that, email us within 14 days and we will refund it, no questions. See the refund policy.

Send an email to be told the day it goes live. Say what trade you are in and whether you are on Android or iPhone; it decides what gets built next. If you want to try it on your own jobs before launch, say that too. A handful of tradies are testing it now.
