Tradiefolio

Terms and Conditions

Effective from the app's release on Google Play. Last updated 17 September 2026.

1. Who you are dealing with

Tradiefolio (the "App") is made and supported by Ricky Went, a sole trader trading as Wombat Logic (ABN 17 141 560 070), Queensland, Australia ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@tradiefolio.com.

2. The App is free to start, then one payment

The App is free to install from Google Play and free to use for your first ten jobs, with every feature included and no time limit. Creating an eleventh job requires the "Unlimited jobs" unlock, a single in-app purchase. Jobs, photos and documents you created while free are never locked away, whether or not you buy the unlock.

3. Buying the unlock

The unlock is sold through Google Play Billing. Google takes your payment, adds GST where it applies, and issues your receipt; Google Play's own terms apply to the transaction. The price shown in the App is in Australian dollars and includes GST. The unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and there is nothing to cancel.

The unlock is attached to the Google account used to buy it. It can be restored on any Android phone signed in to that account through Settings, Restore purchase. It cannot be moved to a different Google account.

4. What you are buying

The unlock gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App with unlimited jobs on devices signed in to your Google account, for your own business. You may not resell the licence or share the Google account for the purpose of sharing the unlock.

5. Updates

Updates are delivered through Google Play and are included in the price. We may add, change or remove features in future versions; an update will never remove your data or reduce what a purchased unlock allows.

6. Your data is on your phone, and so is the responsibility for it

The App stores everything on your device and nothing with us (see the privacy policy). That means we cannot recover jobs, photos or invoices if the phone is lost, wiped or the App is uninstalled. The App provides a backup to a single file. You are responsible for making backups and keeping them somewhere safe. The records the App holds are your business records, and it is your responsibility to keep them for as long as the law requires (the ATO currently requires five years).

7. The App keeps records; it does not give advice

The App formats quotes and invoices according to the Australian tax invoice rules as we understand them, checks ABN check digits, warns about the state written-contract thresholds, and exports in a layout compatible with Xero. These are conveniences, not advice. You remain responsible for whether you are registered for GST, what you charge, what you invoice, the accuracy of your records and your tax returns. Laws and thresholds change; if the App and your accountant disagree, your accountant is right.

8. What you may not do

9. Your content stays yours

The photos, documents and records you make with the App are yours. We claim no rights over them, and since they never leave your phone we could not use them if we wanted to.

10. Guarantees and liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees or any other right you have under a law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent the law allows: the App is provided as is; we do not promise that it is free of errors or that it will suit your particular business; and our total liability to you for anything arising from the App or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost records, lost payments, penalties or disputes with your clients, except where the law says otherwise.

11. Refunds

See the Refund Policy. In short: Google Play's 48-hour window, then 14 days with us, no questions asked.

12. Ending the licence

Your licence ends if you materially breach section 8 and do not fix the breach within 14 days of being told about it. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the App. Back up first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases and for new versions of the App. The terms in force when you bought your unlock keep applying to that unlock.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Queensland, without affecting consumer protections that apply where you live.
